Setting the Record Straight about Setters West's Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg")

Official actions regarding the fraudulent practices of Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West and their blatant forgeries and falsifications of Field Dog Stud Book registrations are in process.

However sadly, there is more to be said concerning the deceitful behavior and unethical practices of Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West ~ than just their reprehensible forgeries and falsifications of official F.D.S.B. registration records, as serious as those particular actions remain.

Before other proof is offered here concerning other horrendously deceitful and malicious acts committed by Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West against not only me ~ but the general English Setter-loving sporting public ~ I feel the matter of Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") should be set straight here once and for all ~ and also serve to demonstrate yet another instance of the obviously incompetent and maliciously devious natures of Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West.

First, despite Rick and Chris Taylor's bizarre and purely malicious accusations against me ~ specifically concerning this particular English Setter: Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") ~ it should be stated here conclusively and absolutely that I was NOT the breeder of this dog and also that this dog was NEVER owned by me ~ despite Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West's repeated assertions.

Below, one will find irrefutable and conclusive proof that once again, Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West have managed to manufacture absolutely false accusations out of thin air ~ indeed have long ago embarked on a consistent path of fraudulent behavior ~ and whose erratic behavior seems at times to border on the clinically delusional.

In malicious, forged and falsified documents and allegations on the Setters West web pages which were completely manufactured by Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West earlier this year in a futile attempt to defame and denigrate me, they mentioned Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") in connection with me at least twice.

Once in a forged letter which they claim was written and signed by me and in which (they laughably claim) I wanted to enter into some sort of business arrangement with them (see more on this in earlier posts below), found by clicking here (NOTE on 25FEB2010: The Taylors have changed and/or altered the content on a number of their web pages since this informartion was presented here, however due to their previous and devious actions regarding the facts presented here, we obtained screen shots of all of the relevant Setters West web pages so they cound continue to be presented here) (or to see a full-sized version without the Taylors' "self-enlargement" feature, click on the thumbnail below ~ yellow highlights placed by us):

And again in their very own words on their slander-ridden web pages ~ which they still maintain ~ however for which (for some very strange reason) they once again do not provide any public links to ~ which can be found by clicking here (NOTE on 25FEB2010: Again, the Taylors have changed and/or altered the content on a number of their web pages since this information was first presented here, however screen shots of the relevant pages have been obtained and are presented here) (or to see a full-sized version without the Taylors' "self-enlargement" feature, click on the thumbnail below ~ yellow highlights placed by us):

.....
In this last "essay" by Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West, they accuse me of attempting to gain and/or retain control of two English Setters in an attempt to have some sort of "control" in their kennel operations. This assertion by the Taylors is patently false. One of the dogs the Taylors name is Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") ~ an English Setter which I was NOT the breeder of and also NEVER OWNED. .

So unless I would have engaged in some sort of deceptive practice ~ such as the Taylors have knowingly engaged in on at least one occasion (in regards to Timbers Sageceous Blue) ~ it would have been quite impossible for me to have "held up" or even "expedited" registration papers or transfer of ownership for a dog whom was not bred by me and indeed never owned by me. .

Strangely enough, Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") became an issue raised by Rick and Chris Taylor of Setter's West in the mid-1990s when I received at least two letters from them telling me they were going to return Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") to me for a full refund as they did not like her hunting abilities ~ despite the fact that I was not the breeder of Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") and that she was not ever owned by me!

I thought at first this was some sort of sick (and very bad) joke (a link to one of these letters from Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West will appear below). However above and beyond the fact that I never owned Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") and was not the breeder of this dog ~ and despite Rick and Chris Taylor's allegation that she was not a good hunter ~ they did indeed keep and use this dog in their breeding program.

.
Soon after I received the first letter from Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West informing me that they were planning to return Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") to ME and expected ME to give them a full refund ~ even though I was NOT the breeder of this dog and NEVER OWNED this dog ~ I called the Taylors and informed them that if they had a problem with that particular dog, that they should contact the owner or breeder from whom they had in fact acquired the dog!

Despite making that initial call to Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West, I received at least one more letter from them (click on thumbnails below for photos of the two-page letter from Rick and Chris Taylor and the envelope in which it was sent) informing me again that they were planning to return Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") to me, even though I felt I had made it very clear to them that I was not the breeder or owner of the dog at any time, that they should contact and/or return the dog to the ACTUAL breeder or the owner of record!

We feel it may also be of interest regarding the above letter that even though Rick and Chris Taylor made disparaging comments about two females they had acquired, that they used these dogs as the basis of their foundation breeding for Setters West.
.
And on a web page for their Setters West kennel as late as five years ago, Rick and Chris Taylor were also claiming that I had personally trained Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") which is also an absolute falsehood. All of these actions were falsehoods created by Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West for the purpose of an enhanced public image for the sake of personal greed.
.
They removed all mention of Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint from that web page shortly after they were contacted by my attorney (click on thumbnail below to see the Setters West web page before it was conveniently revised by Rick and Chris Taylor ... of note here also is the birth date they have listed for Timbers Sagaceous Blue ("Sage") which was also revised shortly after they heard from my attorney ~ more to follow on this matter soon).

After several more phone calls made by me to Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West stating the same facts over and over ~ even though they were at the time still insisting they were planning on bringing Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") back to me and expected me to give them a refund for the dog! ~ I heard nothing further from the Taylors regarding this matter and found out later that despite their claims this particular dog would not hunt to their satisfaction, that they were in fact using her in their breeding program.

.
Through the kindness of a third party who has been duly appalled by Rick and Chris Taylor's forgeries and falsehoods regarding me and their fraudulent practices as regards their Setters West kennels, I acquired an actual copy of the Field Dog Stud Book (F.D.S.B.) registration for Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") which can be viewed by clicking on the thumbnail below:
.
.....
Further proof also provided to me is the actual publication of the registration information for Ryman's Nutmeg Sprint ("Meg") in the Field Dog Stud Book, which goes further to prove my statement that I was not the breeder and/or owner of this particular dog (click in the thumbnail below):
.......
.....
All irrefutable and verifiable FACTS ~ something Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West seem to be in very short supply of now as well as over the past years.
.
It should also be noted here that as of this date, we are still awaiting actual and verifiable proof from Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West of the court case they have maliciously claimed was filed against me by Maurice Ryman.
.
With all the other forged and falsified documents they have produced to date, it would be a relatively easy endeavor to obtain a copy of a court case and action ~ which are all public records, on file and readily available to the public ~ IF the case did indeed or had ever indeed ever existed.
.
There never was a court case of this nature or even remotely related to any matter such as this ~ which goes further to show the truly deceitful and fraudulent natures of Rick and Chris Taylor of Setters West. .

If indeed an allegation of a wholly-manufactured court case such as the Taylors falsely and maliciously claim was published in a widely-available sporting publication such as appears on their slander-ridden web site, then the publication has also been involved in malicious and fraudulent behavior and will also suffer severe consequences as prescribed by law.
